”I’m lucky to live in the Wirral Peninsula with its stunning views across the Dee estuary towards North Wales. It’s in these landscapes that I find the most inspiration, although the mountains and coast of the highlands of Scotland also draws me. I’m never without a sketchbook when I go walking.”
Paintings
”I paint intuitively with oils and cold wax medium, but adopt a more structured approach for my watercolour, pastel and mixed media paintings. Most pieces are small landscapes painted in a style balanced between realism and abstraction. I am a ‘colourist’ inspired by the beauty of light in the landscape.”
